At an inspiring event at the Johannesburg Country Club on 6 October, Chartered Wealth Solutions launched its retirement lifestyle website “Retire Successfully” (www.retiresuccessfully.co.za). Speaker, Barrie Bramley, co-founder of TomorrowToday, amused the mostly Baby Boomer audience with a nostalgic look at that generation’s achievements. Having shown that they changed the world, he challenged the Chartered Wealth clients who attended the launch to continue to live in a world-changing way post retirement.
The long-term goal is to create a retirement community for South Africans close to, or in retirement. Chartered Wealth Solutions recognises that retirement may not be an easy transition for many, and wanted to create a forum which would allow like-minded individuals to interact, sharing stories and supporting each other through the transition.
