MiWay gave South Africans their way in more ways than one this past festive season, offering great insurance products and an opportunity for people to support one of four charities.
Four charities, The Cows (in association with CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation SA), NSPCA, Reach For A Dream Foundation and The Salvation Army, were beneficiaries of leading short-term insurer MiWay’s #IFIHADMiWAY campaign over the festive season. The campaign saw MiWay, which already offers South Africans flexible and innovative insurance cover that perfectly matches their needs, making a R50 donation to a worthy cause for every obligation-free insurance quote requested. Over R330 000 was raised for the beneficiaries during the month-long campaign.
The campaign also encouraged participants to tell MiWay, on various platforms, what they would do if they could have their own way, and MiWay responded by making it happen for some of them.
Head of Marketing and Brand at MiWay, Nthabiseng Moloi, says: “MiWay recognises that everyone wishes they could make a positive difference – particularly during the holiday season. We all wish we could make South Africa a better place, but many of us are not sure where to start. To help, for every South African who contacted MiWay for an obligation-free insurance quote, we donated R50 to a good cause, because MiWay cares about making a difference as much as ordinary South Africans do.”
