Executive Group Reinsurance Purchaser
The individual will be responsible for a portfolio of largely corporate and complex accounts. The essential capabilities would be knowledge and understanding of the local and international markets dealing in complex property and business interruption risks. He/she will be expected to assess, understand and underwrite business in various territories and develop sound relationships with retail and international wholesale brokers. A comprehensive understanding of coinsurance placements and reinsurance placements is therefore essential in addition to technical expertise.
Executive: Group Distribution
The individual will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of global service through network relationships. Providing advice to clients and colleagues on market developments and share knowledge of market trends to enhance the overall value proposition. Contributing in supporting business development initiatives. Working with markets to create entrepreneurial solutions to meet client needs. Analysing clients’ reinsurance requirements, collecting and analysing relevant information to identify risk transfer solutions. Reviewing and quality checking reinsurance documentation at a pre-determined stage in the process to establish whether the selected coverage accurately reflects clients’ reinsurance requirements. Ensuring a full technical and quality check has been completed on all work. Negotiating terms and conditions of placement with lead underwriters, obtaining quotes, and handling underwriter queries and requests for information.
Group Chief Financial Officer
This individual will be responsible for assisting the Board with developing strategic direction and positioning to ensure financial success. Develop and recommend to the Board an annual operating plan and financial budget that supports the long term strategy. Create, co-ordinate, and evaluate the financial controls and supporting information systems of the company. Co-ordinate changes and improvements to disclosure controls and procedures and internal controls over financial reporting. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and take steps to enhance, where necessary, the internal control systems within the company.
Remuneration is highly negotiable for all positions with potential shareholding.
