<h3>Introduction</h3>

The Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) has partnered with the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA) to host an Insurance Director Development Programme to be delivered by the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa (IoDSA).

The program is aimed at developing directorship skills for insurance practitioners who are at Executive management level, this will create a pool of skilled directors within the industry and contribute towards mitigating the risk of skills shortage at this level.

<strong>Overview:</strong> Below is an overview of the modules which will form part of the programme.

<li>Corporate Governance</li><li>Ethics, Strategy, Performance and integrated Reporting</li><li>Risk Compliance, Technology and information, and Assurance</li><li>Effectiveness and Adding Value</li><li>IT Governance</li><li>Reinsurance Management</li>

</ul>

<strong>CPD hours:</strong>

The program will contribute towards Continuing Professional Development and will be awarded CPD hours.

<strong>Criteria:</strong>

Candidates must have 5 to 10 years work experience in the financial services sector with at least 3 to 5 years Executive Management experience.

The value of the programme is R37 700,00. Due to sponsorship from INSETA, we are able to deliver the programme at a discounted rate:
