<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Constantia Insurance Group (Constantia) is pleased to announce the appointment of <strong>Peter Todd as Chief Executive</strong>. Todd takes over from Volker von Widdern, who has stepped down from his role.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Todd, who has served as a non-executive director of Constantia over the past two years, brings a wealth of experience and industry credentials to the table.  He has held a number of executive positions within the industry both locally and abroad. He is a former CEO of Mutual & Federal and more recently served as Chairman of Standard Insurance Limited, before joining the Board of Constantia as a non-executive director in 2017. Todd has also served on various industry boards, including the South African Insurance Association, and is a former President of the Insurance Institute of South Africa.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The appointment of Todd comes at a time when Constantia realigns itself with its business strategy to drive business growth in new markets in Southern Africa. </span></p>
