‍Continental Re is pleased to announce the shortlisted companies for the inaugural CRe Awards for Africa, ahead of the Awards Ceremony taking place on 17th April 2026.

The CRe Awards for Africa were established to recognise outstanding performance, innovation, and emerging leadership across the continent’s insurance industry. Following a rigorous evaluation process, including formal submissions and interviews with a distinguished panel of judges, the following companies have been shortlisted across two categories:

‍Momentum Awards Recognising companies that have demonstrated sustained growth, commercial excellence, and strategic impact.

Emerging Champions Awards Recognising bold, innovative companies that are reshaping the future of insurance in Africa.

• Agrails Ltd, Kenya
• Alpha Direct Insurance, Botswana
• Britam Connect, Kenya

Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony alongside the 11th Continental Re CEO Summit on 17th April 2026.Continental Reinsurance congratulates all shortlisted companies on this achievement and looks forward to celebrating with them and the wider industry.
