Requirements for Continuous Professional Development

<div>All professional members are expected to submit their activities for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours by deadline day, May 31.
Members are encouraged to take advantage of our <a href="https://iisa.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=ec48a77df9b85a177b84d7ae0&id=7b268bb021&e=6a0420157d" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://iisa.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u%3Dec48a77df9b85a177b84d7ae0%26id%3D7b268bb021%26e%3D6a0420157d&source=gmail&ust=1588142030335000&usg=AFQjCNGRMNwx9jyf5zFtwFJufyxyzT2bvA">eLearning platform</a>. The Institute has introduced virtual training during the lockdown, the virtual training will continue post lockdown. The virtual training will go a long way in enhancing the knowledgebase as well as compliance with CPD requirements.
<strong>CPD activities are activities that are rated, verified, and approved by IISA. The following are examples of CPD activities:</strong>

<li>Self Study</li><li>Professional reading</li><li>Coaching and mentorship</li><li>Authoring of papers</li><li>Delivering and attending lectures</li><li>Delivering presentations</li><li>Attending conferences, seminars, workshops and courses</li></ul>

<div>As part of our primary responsibility to our members as the IISA we have a member portal where CPD hours can be logged. This portal is also available to non-members at a fee. This makes it easier to monitor compliance with CPD requirements and to keep track of accumulated CPD hours throughout the cycle.</div>
