The focus and important part of teaching/learning happens in the form of experience gained from a workplace: this work-experience component increases a learner’s probabilities for employment. After successfully completing all the formative assessments and compiling a POE, learners are required to write an exit examination ‘External Integrated Summative Assessment’ (EISA) in order to receive a QCTO occupational certificate.
