Risk Guard Alliance was established in 2006 as a UMA focusing on the hospitality industry. A big part of our DNA is to innovate and evolve, so in 2009 we expanded our product suite to include a specialised motorcycle policy, in 2011 we included a rifle insurance product and in 2012 we started specialising in All Risk Mortality for Wildlife.By 2016 we had 12 products and our intended focus to be specialists selling specialist products was being diluted. After an intensive evaluation we concluded that we needed to refocus our product offering and address service delivery. In our case the old adage was true, quality over quantity if we wanted to deliver service that made a real difference.In 2017 we announced that we will focus on property, wildlife and rifle insurance business. Since then we have introduced a new wildlife product specifically designed to address the gaps in covers and to clear up the grey areas which had been frustrating the industry as a whole. In April 2018 we introduced our new Asset All Risk property wording. This wording boasts plain language that is clear and client friendly, and will form the basis all our future policy wording expansion
