Infiniti Insurance Limited, a local non-life insurer, and their Broker partner Galileo Risk Insurance Solutions are helping to literally drive these efforts in South Africa through their sponsorship of support vehicles for the 2021 MAD2Ride and MAD2Run events. </p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p>A growing community of civil society groups across the world are constantly looking for ways to help others while also deriving some personal benefit. To date, the MAD2Run and MAD2Ride events have raised R5.5 million for MAD. </p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:image {"align":"right","id":147170,"sizeSlug":"medium","linkDestination":"none","className":"is-style-default"} --><div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="alignright size-medium"><img src="https://cover.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Samantha-Sanders-200x300.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-147170"/><figcaption>Samantha Sanders has taken up the MAD2Ride 2021 1600kms challenge and says it will be the longest race of her career so far. Sam is on record as the SA Marathon Champion 2019 and Cross Country National Champion 2013, she is a member of the Galileo Infiniti Women’s cycling team.</figcaption></figure></div><!-- /wp:image --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p>MAD2Ride hosts 25 cyclists who traverse a slightly different and longer route than the runners. The riders tackle the 1600km multi-terrain route as a team and ride the full distance as a peloton in a multi-stage format. </p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p>To play their part and support this worthy cause, Infiniti Insurance ad Galileo Risk Insurance Solutions will proudly sponsor the funds needed to cover the rental costs of 11 support vehicles for the 2021 events. </p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p>The sponsorship also builds on Galileo’s prior involvement with the MAD Leadership Foundation through the company’s founder – sales and marketing director Hayden Simpson. </p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p>Samantha Sanders, celebrated winner of the 2019 SA Marathon Champs and 2013 National Cross- Country Champion will join the 2021 MAD2Ride adventure.
