We are all in this together

Global infections keep soaring, with this tragedy sparing no country, community, industry or business. Our economy has been struggling and will be heavily impacted by this increased uncertainty. Now, more than ever, we need to stand together while making decisions with an even greater focus on societal impact and sustainability.

One of the most important steps business has taken is to either let as many employees as possible work from home, or preparing employees to work from home. This will be a period of testing for IT systems, management quality and process flexibility.

Ensuring appropriate content for our readers and appropriate readers for our advertisers/ content sponsors, have always been the primary goal for me and the team at COVER. When it comes to readers, it is not just about the number of recipients of our content, it is about how many readers actually consume the content.

That is why we have always had a holistic approach, with a variety of channels, media and delivery platforms. This is especially important at a time when more and more employees are working from home and so our focus on digital is increased even more. At COVER we understand remote working very well, having run a virtual business for more than eight years now.

This presents a great opportunity for everyone to improve their skills and industry knowledge. To assist everyone with this opportunity we are launching a third version of our monthly magazine this week and shortly thereafter a fourth version, to increase reader access to our content and ensure advertisers/ content sponsors get maximum exposure to these readers.

“Our increased digital focus means the magazine content remains the same but accessibility increases and reader personalisation is added”

Digital Magazine - Besides the current digital magazine, hosted on an e-reader platform, you can now also read COVER as a digital magazine in PDF format, downloadable for offline reading. However, I am excited to announce that we have gone one step further to customise your read and make downloading easier. If you are a Short-term focused reader, you can now download the Short-term issue of COVER and if you are a Financial/ Investment Planning focused reader, you can download that version. If however you would like to, you can download the full version of the magazine for a comprehensive read.

E-Books – If you are a specialist and you sometimes want to focus your reading, you can access one of our segment focused E-Books. Perfect for updating your skills and widening your horizons.

Coming Soon – Version Four: This is a mobile focused platform, specifically built for easy consumption and sharing of COVER Magazine, thereby increasing access and readership.

CPD Opportunities – As you know, COVER is CPD accredited and you can earn 9 CPD hours, the total annual regulatory allowance for Professional Reading, by logging onto LearnOn, reading the appropriate material and completing a questionnaire. You can also earn the balance of your CPD required hours right there. Nothing can be easier.

We are confident you will love these additions to your reading pleasure. Watch this space!
