On Thursday, 9 May 2019 Bidvest Insurance and Crusaders Rugby Club officially opened the brand new Crusaders Rugby Dug Out Building in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN).

Over the years, Bidvest has established itself as a major player in the sponsorship of South African sports (big and small), enhancing sporting excellence in our country by funding and backing champions.

In its commitment to the development and well-being of the communities it serves, Bidvest Insurance became the official sponsor of Crusaders Rugby Club in 2017 to provide the necessary support to grow and improve the state of rugby in KZN. Since then the club has shown exceptional growth and progress on the field. They have recently won their first two games of the season, beating Durban Collegians and Varsity College.
