Finding the forgotten graduate

Ayanda Seboni, Group Executive: Marketing and Stakeholder Relations at PPS talks to us about their pioneering campaign, "Finding the forgotten graduate".
The idea of the campaign started around PPS's 80th birthday when they started to think about the people that started PPS, which led to thoughts about South Africa back in those days, what was it like, who were the pioneers and the pioneering graduates?
When you look at South African history, it's very linear, very binary. You were either on one side or the other, the stories of ordinary South Africans doing ordinary things or extra ordinary things is hardly ever told outside of a political lens.
PPS wanted to move away from that and get to know the pioneers, particularly pioneers in academia. And that is how the birth of Finding the Forgotten graduate came about.
