Retirement Income Challenges with Deane Moore

Tony van Niekerk of COVER recently chatted with Deane Moore, CEO of <a href="https://justsa.co.za/">Just SA</a>. Tony asked Deane if he could share some of the main insights from their latest research into retirement income challenges.

Deane told Tony that one of the main surprising findings was that a high proportion of people that are self assessed at being financially astute, which was around 8/10 people, say they are set in working towards financial goals. However when looking into the details of what they are expecting to get as income there is a massive expectation gap with them expecting twice the level of income that they would actually receive at retirement.
