Genasys sponsors Lehae Knights

Genasys Technologies announced last week in their newsletter that they have extended their sponsorship of the Soweto Lehae Knights.It all started in 2011 when Steve Symes, CEO of Genasys and a huge soccer supporter, commissioned his team to find a grass roots soccer team to sponsor.The team shared in Symes’s belief that sport is the key to unity, and as luck would have it they discovered the Lehae Knights.Over the past three years Coach Roger has taken the teams from strength to strength with his passion and love for the game. Roger is head coach of the under 10, under 13, under 15, and under 17 teams, and most recently added an over 18 first team which plays in the SAFA League.Genasys wrote in their newsletter:“He has instilled discipline and passion in his players, and has done amazing work with skills development, he is coaching future stars and has already had one of the goal shooters approached to try out for the Chiefs.“We are extremely proud to be associated with Roger and the Knights, and hope more companies in the industry will get involved in grass roots sports.
