The Insurance Conference is coming to Cape Town

CN&CO announces a bold new insurance industry gathering in the Cape Winelands - 20–21 August 2026

CN&CO has officially announced the launch of The Insurance Conference 2026, a curated two-day experience taking place on 20 and 21 August 2026 at the beautiful Plaisir Wine Estate in the Cape Winelands.

Created for insurance professionals, brokers, underwriting managers, insurers, service providers and industry partners, The Insurance Conference is designed to bring together the right people, in the right environment, for the conversations that matter most.

And according to the team behind it, this is not just another conference.

Built on more than 30 years of combined experience in insurance marketing, events and industry engagement, CN&CO has created an experience focused on meaningful connection, fresh thinking and real value.

Two days. One unforgettable experience.

Day one, Thursday 20 August, features a full-day conference programme (09:00 - 17:00) with engaging speakers, industry insights, practical conversations and bold ideas shaping the future of insurance in South Africa.

The day concludes with an exclusive Gala Dinner at Plaisir Wine Estate, offering delegates and partners an opportunity to connect in a more relaxed and memorable setting in the heart of the Winelands.

Day two, Friday 21 August, shifts from conference halls to shared experiences and genuine networking. Attendees can choose from:

A 5km or 10km fun run/walk

A padel tournament at Zorgvliet Wines

An exclusive four-wine-farm Winelands experience

Importantly, the Gala Dinner and Friday experiences are open to everyone and can be booked separately — delegates do not need a conference ticket to participate.

To make the experience even more accessible, a shuttle service between Cape Town CBD and Plaisir Wine Estate will be available for conference delegates on Thursday 20 August, thanks to transport partner Gage Car Hire.

CPD-accredited and intentionally limited

Delegates attending the conference on Thursday 20 August will qualify for CPD points.

Attendance is intentionally capped to create a more personal, high-quality experience where conversations are easier, networking is meaningful, and sponsors receive genuine exposure and engagement.
