It is no secret that crime is a problem in South Africa and that we are currently in a very difficult economic time, where people are struggling. Unfortunately this has led to an uptake in terms of jewellery store robberies.

In light of this increase in crime, we caught up with Natasha Maroun, National Head: Jewellery, Fine Art & Specie at Bryte Insurance to ask her if she could tell us a little bit about the current Jewellery store environment and how Bryte are managing this increase in theft. We also find out, given that many businesses have been moving their business home in some form or another , how this may affect their risk management.
