Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children
The Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children (SBCWC) is a one-stop centre for women and children who are survivors of abuse. Their vision is the creation of a safe and secure society and a human rights culture where women and children are empowered to exercise their full rights.
The funding of non-profit Centre's like SBCWC have been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic as not only are their funders having to tighten their purse strings, but they have been unable to do their normal fundraising initiatives to raise the R6 million needed every year to keep the programmes that are needed running.
There are various ways for you to assist the Saartjie Baartman Centre with its work:
How you can help
- You can make a financial donation.
- You can make a material donation.
- You can donate your time, as a volunteer.
- You can make a donation through Greater Good SA
