The definition of clean tech is quite a broad one in itself, says Brian Arcese, Portfolio Manager & Equity Analyst, Foord Asset Management (Singapore). He explains that when most people think of clean tech, what usually pops into their mind is clean energy investments, which can be things as simple as wind farms or solar farms, though obviously, from a tech perspective, they're not so simple. You've got to think of all the technology required to connect those types of investments to the grid and to bring wind and solar to the world. It's really a marrying of old tech, AI and sensor technology with clean, and it is here that you get this broad array of opportunities in which one can invest across the space.
