<h3>Introduction</h3>

The Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) has partnered with the Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA) to host an Executive Management Development Programme. The programme will be delivered by the African Leadership University (ALU) and it is designed for senior managers as well as Executive Managers in the insurance industry.

This programme is aimed at nurturing and elevating business and leadership skills. It will also assist managers in keeping abreast of developing technologies and business strategies. Through this programme, the IISA and INSETA aim to create a pool of skilled executive managers thereby assisting the industry in mitigating the risk of a shortage of skills at executive management level.

Through the AL Group’s research-based, leadership transformation model, the programme is uniquely designed to transform managers into high impact leaders.

<h3>Overview</h3>

<strong>The 6-month programme focuses on four leadership competencies:</strong>

<strong>Dates and Format</strong>

12 days of in-person intensives at the ALX Lab in Johannesburg. The programme is due to commence in September 2019, with 2 sessions, and then every month thereafter for a total of 6 sessions of 2 days each.

<strong>CPD hours</strong>

The program will contribute towards Continuing Professional Development and will be awarded CPD hours.

<strong>Criteria</strong>

Candidates must have 5 to 8 years of work experience in the Financial Services Sector with at least 3 to 5 years at Senior or Executive Management level.

The value of the programme is R98 000.00 per candidate, however, due to the investment from INSETA we are able to deliver the programme at a discounted rate:
